If you live on Long Island NY and you want to learn how to fly, our location at Brookhaven Airport will make your flight training as easy and as safe as possible. Brookhaven Airport is a relatively large, but quiet airport used primarily by private single and twin engine aircraft and a few gliders. Jet fuel is not available here, so jet traffic is few and far between. It features four long runways, allowing you to optimize your landings with respect to the wind, and offers pilots significant length to practice flaring and touchdown. In addition it features an ILS approach allowing you to learn and practice instrument flight at your home airport.
